Human Resources Officer

Location: Melbourne Head Office - VIC

 

Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated Human Resource Professional to join our dynamic HR Services team on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. You will be part of a team providing efficient and accurate HR Employee Services to our Australian and Expatriate employees. The role will cover a broad range of activities including onboarding administration, SAP Master Data Maintenance and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive employee lifecycle experience in our operational locations both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities of the HR Officer include:

  • Coordinate the development of employee contracts and onboarding administration
  • SAP Master Data changes and data reporting
  • Manage inbound and outbound relocation services
  • Query management from employees and managers
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as local HR teams, Corporate HR, Finance and Payroll
  • Develop relationships with external stakeholders
  • Identify and participate in implementation of process improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working with a multi-national company in a similar role. A proven self-starter, you have demonstrated experience operating effectively in a busy environment requiring you to priorities tasks and manage competing demands. Additional key attributes include your excellent analytical and influencing skills, your attention to detail and your advanced systems experience (SAP HCM Module and Microsoft Office). Your strong interpersonal skills will be crucial to your success as you will be a central contact for cross-functional departments across all levels within the business. Experience in the mining industry or similar will be viewed favorably. Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline are desirable but not essential.
