An opportunity exists for a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Group Planning team, based in our Melbourne head office. The team is responsible for the co-ordination, analysis and presentation of Newcrest's planning activities across the short, medium and long term horizons, while also engaging with the wider business on a range of initiatives to assess alignment to strategic intent. Confident in owning complex processes with multiple stakeholders, you bring commercial and business analysis experience relevant to this highly visible role.

Based on St Kilda Road, our Melbourne Head Office is easily accessible by public transport or car, with discounted parking available.
With tertiary qualifications in business, finance or engineering, you will bring with you highly developed financial modelling and analytic skills with proven experience in planning/budgeting, financial evaluation, business performance analysis, competitor analysis and business case preparation. You will also display strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across all levels of the business. Experience working in Mining/Resource or similar capital intensive industry would be highly advantageous.
