Newcrest is an ASX listed company and we have an exciting opportunity for a Productivity Lead to join our Group IT and Digital team. In this hands-on role, you will lead a small team, ensuring our productivity and enterprise search tools are well supported and used effectively by the global workforce.

Reporting to the IT Solutions Lead you will provide dynamic support and constant improvement of our expanding productivity tools, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools and IBM Watson.  You will also play the lead role in educating the business to optimise the use and benefits derived from these applications, constantly promoting, measuring and governing the uptake of global productivity and search tools. As a result, you will have the ability to understand the needs of your customer and the confidence to make tailored recommendations. This includes acting as a subject matter expert to support stakeholders justify technology solutions and managing a panel of preferred vendors.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have proven leadership skills within a fast-moving environment and highly developed communication skills. You will have experience managing not only the technical aspects, but more importantly the perception and usability of our productivity and search tools. With an owner’s mindset, you will make recommendations that are cost efficient and tailored to the needs of your customers. You will be highly organised, able to manage an evolving portfolio of work and assist the development of your team. Ideally you will have experience working with remote global locations and the complexity of ensuring constant and stable access to high performing Productivity solutions.

You will be respected by your peers for your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, and for your understanding of how technology can be used to drive business performance. You will have a solutions oriented approach with highly developed problem-solving skills, preferably with a track record of delivery technology projects using agile methodology.
