We are now seeking a highly motivated and accomplished professional to lead our Group Business Improvement team.

Reporting to the General Manager – Technical Services, you will design and govern the group-wide frameworks, policies, standards, processes and tools for business improvement, management operating system and functional excellence.

Importantly, you will lead and implement ways of work within the Group Business Improvement team to catalyse collaboration, creativity and innovation across the group, and achieve the mandate of the function.

As a highly experienced professional leader within this space, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. You will have strong understanding in the application of the broad range of business improvement methods and systems including, but not limited to, Lean, Agile, Theory of Constraints, Systems Leadership and Six Sigma. Relevant experience through senior leadership of operational teams in mining or heavy industry will be desirable.

You will have strong strategic and commercial acumen, including the ability to clearly identify drivers of business value and build constructive relationships and networks at all levels within the business.
