Our Red Chris mine is located on the traditional territory of the Tahltan and we encourage qualified applicants from the local communities to apply. We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George and Smithers.

 

Who we’re looking for

The Mobile Maintenance Trainer is responsible for the day to day implementation and maintenance of the Mine Training systems. This include Mine Operations, Mobile Maintenance, TIA and Technical Services, systems and processes.  This role has a strong focus on trades related training, including the Apprenticeship program. 

Qualifications & Required Technical Skills

  • High School Graduate

  • Class 5 Driver’s License

  • Mobile Equipment Trainer Certification (Skid Steer, Wheel Loader, C/B Forklift , O/H Crane, Telehandler, AWP

  • ITA Red Seal in a relevant Trade (Welding, Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic etc.)Strong Computer Skills – Microsoft Office / SAP / DATS

  • E-Learning Software – Articulate 360, Captivate

  • Presentation Skills – Group Speaking – 30 people or more

Required Knowledge and Experience

You will have an advanced understanding of trade related training, including Apprenticeship programs. Safety Leadership and Team development knowledge and experience.   Understanding of Competency Assessment and experience with Learning Management Systems and e-Learning development are expected.
