Who we’re looking for:

Cadia Valley Operations is currently in search of a new Warehouse Officer to become part of our Commercial Department. This role entails facilitating the careful handling and precise administration of material goods in alignment with company protocols and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess previous mining and warehouse experience and showcase the ability to initiate continuous collaboration with other departments on-site.

Kindly be advised that this position is based in Orange, NSW, operating on a rotating 7/7 roster, necessitating the successful candidate to work alternating days and nights.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Enforce efficient processes for returns, rotables, and waste management.
  • Encourage the use of SAP system for inventory management and work planning.
  • Provide coverage for Leading Hand and other warehouse roles as needed.
  • Manage materials goods in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and accounting of materials using SAP system.
  • Ensure timely delivery of scheduled parts through efficient kitting and staging process.
  • Complete stocktaking as per audit requirements.
  • Focus on maintaining up-to-date returns onsite and at the warehouse.
  • Ensure timely processing of rotables.
  • Maintain cleanliness at key drop-off points.
  • Support continuous improvement of operational processes.
  • Support the Safety Management System to foster a safety-first work culture.
  • Proactively monitor to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Enforce compliance with standard work procedures and safe systems.
  • Record incidents in Chess and complete initial incident actions.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following:

  • Forklift license - essential
  • Previous warehousing and mining experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently
