Telfer Operations
In the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia, our Telfer gold-copper mine is our fly-in-fly-out operation, comprising open pits, processing plant and an underground mine. While at site Telfer offers a diverse range of recreational activities including a gym, swimming pool, driving range, movie room and refurbished communal eatery.
The Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Officer to play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, ensuring the receipt, management, and issue of materials as required by the Telfer site. Please note this role is site based and is 8 Days on 6 days Off, FIFO from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify the quality, type, and quantity of goods received into the warehouse.
Safely store goods in the correct locations, manage inventory, and prepare goods for dispatch ensuring safe and efficient packing.
Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles (including heavy rigid vehicles) for transporting goods across the site.
Assist in stock takes and help identify discrepancies in stock levels between physical and recorded quantities.
Ensure compliance with issue requests, issue goods promptly, and manage discrepancies during the issuance process.
Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse, ensuring walkways and aisles are clear and operational areas are neat.
About You
We are searching for an individual who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong background in warehouse operations, other requirements include:
Demonstrated experience in a Store/Warehousing environment, ideally site-based within Mining or Resources industry
WorkSafe High Risk License – Class LF (Forklift License)
Experience with SAP Warehouse Management System
HR Driver’s License
Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (TLI30321)
