This role will be responsible for the implementation of Cadia's environmental monitoring programs, namely surface water, groundwater and riparian flow monitoring programs. Tasks will involve ensuring environmental monitoring infrastructure and equipment are operational, including the collection of accurate and reliable data at all times. You will undertake sample collection, arrange analysis, ensure the safe storage of data and undertake interpretation of surface water, groundwater and riparian flow data in order to produce monthly and annual reports. The role will be required to liaise with the local community and assist with a range of community projects and programs.

The current roster for this role 5 days on, 2 days off.


Cadia Valley Operations (CVO) is located in central western New South Wales approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional town of Orange. About You

With tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related discipline and with experience in the resources sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your demonstrated environmental management expertise along with your highly effective and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external stakeholders. As a commercially, safety and customer focused Environmental professional, you pride yourself on your effectiveness in your field. You will have sound experience in the collection, assessment, interpretation and presentation of water / groundwater monitoring data.You will display outstanding communication skills, the ability to work in a diverse and challenging work environment as well as advanced skills in report writing and Microsoft office suite. Experience in the collection, archiving and reporting of environmental data and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders will be essential for success in this role.
